Risk Assessment

Factors of Risk During Filming on Set:

  • Audiences? No, the only people present were employees and myself.
  • Camera Equipment? Only if it was set on the floor however my rig was small and hand-held.
  • Confined Spaces? No the factory was nice and open with enough space for each section.
Note - My different style of answering the question but it still answers it...

  • There was more than a normal supply of gas and electricity but it is due to high powered equipment, which is handled safely by professionals.
  • There was flammable materials but it was never a problem.
  • There was a lot of machinery but it was only used by the employees.
  • There was a lot of noise but not enough to use ear plugs.
  • There is no night operation.
  • There is no special effects.
  • All vehicles move very slowly and if not it is due to them not being in the way of people working.
  • There was no working over seas conducted.

Overall the environment was safe to me but there are dangerous things there. However, as these were handled by professionals I was not at risk what-so-ever as it was treated strictly and it was obvious that non-professionals wouldn't try to use the equipment.
