Aperture/Shutter Speed Task

Difference in motion blur

Shot from the first video with F30 with a higher shutter speed.

Shot from the video which uses F250 with a lower shutter speed.

Aperture affects the depth of field and this in turn effects the amount of light entering the lens.

- The higher the ISO the more grain will appear in the image but lower the ISO the darker and less grain will be present.
- The shutter speed is effected by the ratio. The higher it is e.g. 1/125 the less motion blur there will be but with a ratio of 4/1 or 1/1 the more motion blur there will be. to show this I used running water and the water splashes are more or less blurred.

The four key factors that affect aperture:

- The F stop
- Focal length (lenses)
- Focal Distance (between the end of the lens and the subject
- Physical Depth
